We make a choice, daily, between good and bad, between better or worse.
Either by the things we do.
Or by the things we choose not to do. By what we neglect to do.
And it is through those actions (or negligences) that we get the results in our lives.
Can you remember where you chose to do something, and it resulted in a benefit?
I definitely can: choosing to cut back on my spending, and putting that money into a house. A home for my family now, a home that is worth much more than it was many years ago. That home has been such a boon, because I would definitely not be able to buy into my suburb today. Prices have gone through the roof.
On the other hand, there are so many couples who chose not to take the plunge into home ownership, though they had the opportunity many years ago.
One of them was telling us how ‘impossible’ it is to buy here now, and how they have had to buy away from this suburb. And how they’ve missed out on the financial growth they could have achieved.
Remember the Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade scene with the Knight who was guarding the Holy Grail? ”
“You must choose. But choose wisely, for as the true Grail will bring you life, a false one will take it from you.”
